Directions and care
Caring for a human hair wig requires gentle, regular maintenance to preserve its natural look and lifespan. Wash your wig every 6 to 8 wears (or once a month if worn less often) using sulfate-free, hydrating products, always detangle from the ends up, and let it air dry on a dedicated stand.
Washing and Conditioning
- Detangle first: Brush the dry hair gently from the ends to the roots using a wide-tooth comb or wig brush before water touches it.
- Use lukewarm or cool water: Hold the cap and let water flow downward in the same direction as the hair. Avoid hot water, which loosens knots and dries out strands.
- Apply gentle shampoo: Lather a sulfate-free, color-safe shampoo into your hands first, then smooth it down the hair and gently clean the inside cap. Do not rub or twist the hair.
- Condition the mid-lengths and ends: Apply a hydrating conditioner or mask, avoiding the base knots or roots to prevent loosening the hair. Rinse thoroughly with cool water to seal the cuticle.

Drying and Storing
- Remove excess water: Gently squeeze out water with your hands, then pat it with a microfiber towel (never wring or rub).
- Air dry naturally: Place the wig on a foldable wig stand or a mannequin head covered with a silk cap to air dry completely.
- Store properly: Keep it on a wig stand out of direct sunlight when not in use to preserve its shape and prevent color fading.
Daily Maintenance and Styling- Brush with care: Support the base with one hand while using a wide-tooth comb or loop brush to eliminate tangles.
- Protect against heat: Always apply a heat protectant spray before using flat irons or curling wands, and keep temperature settings moderate but can be high if your style requires it, just remember to spray on your heat protection spray.
- Avoid sleeping in it: Remove your wig before bed to minimize friction, matting, and unnecessary shedding.
